Here is my first recipe for my blog! This is a pasta salad I made up but you really could put anything you like in this salad. Whatever veggies you like would taste yummy. But here is what i used.
1 16 oz. box bowtie pasta
1cup thawed frozen peas
1/2 orange pepper, diced
1/2 red onoin, diced
1 small head of broccoli, florets only
3 eggs, hard boiled and chopped
4-5 slices deli ham, chopped
1 cup mayo
2 TB. red wine vinegar
salt
pepper
garlic powder
Cook pasta according to box directions. At the last 2 minutes of cooking the pasta add the broccoli. Then drain noodles and broccoli. Add a little oil to the pasta to keep it from sticking. Let it cool completely. Then add orange pepper, onion, peas, ham , eggs. Mix the mayo and vinegar together until smooth. Then pour of pasta mixture. As far as the salt, pepper and garlic, I do that to taste. I add them all while making the salad then i do it again after the salad has completely cooled in the fridge. This is so yummy and you can eat this as your meal or as a side dish. ENJOY! Let me know what you think after you make it!
