The need for foster and adoptive parents is so huge that it is almost overwhelming. There are kids right here in our own town that are in desperate need of a mom and a dad. They are all different ages, different races, different abilities. Some are single and some are part of a sibling group. Some just need a safe place to go until their family can get back on their feet and some need a forever home. These children weigh so heavily on my heart and I hate that I can't take all of them home with me. But if ever have had even just a passing thought about what it takes to be a foster parent or how you can adopt don't let it stop there. Talk to me, research it on the web, go to a informational class but don't let the thought just pass. These kids need a loving home and if you have the ability to do that then please take that next step in faith and see what it is all about. I will put up a few websites to look at.
